Always call ahead
Woofr is a guide, not a guarantee. Dog policies in Dubai change constantly — a café that welcomed your dog on its terrace last month may have changed management, changed its licence, or simply changed its mind. Municipal rules on public beaches and parks change too, and they are enforced.
Before you travel across town, phone the venue. Treat everything here as a strong hint about where to look, never as permission to turn up.
Where the information comes from
Listings are assembled from published sources — venues’ own websites and social accounts, and local press and directories — and each one is checked against a current source before it goes live. Some listings are also confirmed by visitors using the buttons on each card.
That process catches a great deal and will still be wrong sometimes. A “Verified” badge means several people told us a place still works; it is a community signal, not an inspection, and it is not endorsed by the venue.
Restricted areas
Shaded areas on the map mark places where dogs are banned or restricted, drawn from public guidance. They are approximate outlines for orientation, not surveyed boundaries, and they are no substitute for the signage in front of you. Where a sign and this map disagree, the sign wins.
No affiliation, no advice
Woofr is independent. Being listed here does not mean a venue sponsors us, and we take no payment for a listing or a position. Nothing on this site is legal, veterinary or safety advice. You are responsible for your dog, for the rules that apply where you are, and for the consequences of a visit.
Your email
If you sign up, we store your email address and your dog’s name to tell you when Woofr launches and to invite you to the first walks. We do not sell that to anyone. Every email we send can be unsubscribed from in one click, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Verification votes are stored without your email or IP address — only a one-way hash, so the same person cannot vote twice on the same place. Searches are logged the same way — what was typed and whether it matched — so we can see what the map is missing.
Something wrong? Tell us
Use the flag on any card to report a listing, fill in the correction form if you run the place, or message us on Instagram. If you run a venue and want your listing corrected or removed, say so and we will act on it — quickly, and without argument.
